Office of Child Care - Online Background Registry

The Online Background Registry is required for all licensed early education professionals and anyone who is regularly in a licensed facility that is 18 years or older. This does not include parents of children in care, unless they are also employees.

Oregon Child Care Food Handlers Certification

Online child care food handler training and testing provided through the Central Coordination of Oregon Child Care Resource and Referral. Certificate obtained from this site is valid in any Oregon county for 3 years.

Oregon Registry Child Care Training Calendar

The Oregon Registry Online Training Calendar lists trainings available throughout Oregon. You may search for trainings by: county, age group, language, etc. Find training that meets your needs.

Oregon Registry Credentials

State-approved Oregon Registry credentials recognize a professional’s knowledge, skills and achievements in order to improve the quality of services and thereby increase positive outcomes for children and families.

Oregon Registry Education Award

When you apply for a Step 3 through 12 on the Oregon Registry, you may be eligible for an Education Award. To receive an Education Award, you must be working in an Office of Child Care licensed facility or you must be a Department of Human Services (DHS) active provider.

Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

Provides reimbursement for nutritious meals and snacks served to eligible children in child care centers, family day care homes, schools.
