Columbia Gorge Community College SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions apply to text messages sent by Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC). By opting in to receive SMS messages from CGCC, you agree to these terms.

Types of Messages

Depending on the SMS program for which you enroll, you may receive marketing text messages you have opted into.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the SMS program, your interactions with CGCC, and the services or programs in which you participate.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for information about your text messaging and data plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from CGCC at any time by replying STOP to any message. If you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message. After opting out, you may receive a final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional SMS messages from that program unless you sign up for SMS messages again.

Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to the availability and operation of your wireless carrier’s network.

Consent

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of enrollment, admission, purchase, or receipt of college services.

Privacy

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services." This statement appears verbatim.
