Network Password Policy

Your network password is used with the following college services.

  • Login to computers on campus
  • Google Apps, Email
  • Copiers
  • Schedule25
  • Support Ticket System (ITS)

Your password expires after 1 year. You will receive a prompt to change your password 14 days before your password expires.

Rules for Password

  • Minimum 8 characters or more
  • Cannot contain any part of your name or username
  • Cannot be a previously used password
  • Must contain 3 of the following
    • Uppercase letter (EXAMPLE)
    • Lowercase letter (example)
    • Number (1, 14, 100, etc)
    • Special character (#, $, @, etc)

Changing your Network Password (via computer - on campus)

  1. Log onto any computer on campus with your username
  2. Hit CTRL + ATL + DELETE (Hit all keys at the same time)
  3. Choose "Change a Password..."
  4. Type your current password
  5. Type your new password
  6. Verify your new password
  7. Click the blue, righthand arrow to complete the password change

After changing your password you will not be able to change your password for 24 hours. If you password needs to be changed you will need to contact ITS.
