The library has a print management system. Services are currently free for small print jobs. After you print, tell the librarian at the desk, and they will release the print job for you.

Collection Development
The library collects materials to support the Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) mission. We strive to provide materials that:
- Are relevant to class assignments
- Are current and recent
- Represent multiple sides of a particular debate or topic
- Faculty and other experts identify as relevant to their field
- Increase the breadth and depth of the collection
- Are of local interest due to geography, history, or connection with community partners
- Promote and encourage reading by all patrons
- Are typical of small academic and rural libraries
- Maximize available funds
Donations
Donated materials are welcome, and will be considered by the director of the Library and Learning Commons. Contact us for more information.
Fines and Fees
Overdue Items
- The CGCC Library does not charge fines on overdue CGCC materials. Items more than 30 days overdue are considered lost (see below).
- Interlibrary Loans are subject to overdue fines by the lending library.
Lost or Damaged Items
Lost or irreparably damaged items incur a $5.00 service fee plus the replacement cost of the item. (If lost items are returned, both of these fees are removed from the patron's account). Patrons are fully responsible for charges imposed by the lending library for lost or damaged Interlibrary Loan items.
Unpaid fees for lost or damaged items prevent you from checking out additional items, and also place a hold on your ability to register for classes until the fees are paid.
