Friday Funding Forums

What is it?

Have questions about financial aid, scholarships, grants, loans, or how to pay for college? Attending a Friday Funding Forum gives you an opportunity to chat with Sara Viemeister, CGCC's resident financial aid guru! Sara and her weekly guests (from CGCC's resource, business office, and other departments) will offer expert help finding resources to pay for college. These sessions are held on Zoom, most Fridays (starting January 27th - see full list of dates and link below to join).

Who is it for?

Everyone! Current students, prospective students, and even students taking a break who are thinking about coming back can attend. Parents and other support individuals are also welcome. 

Will my information be confidential?

Yes! CGCC staff will answer general questions in the forum, but if you have specific questions about your situation, staff members will open a breakout (private) room so you can discuss any confidential or personal information.

Sounds great! When is it and how do I join?

All sessions are held on Fridays, from 10:00-11:00 am unless otherwise noted. Sessions are drop-in, drop-out, so you don't have to join right at 10:00, but if you have multiple questions or a complicated one, come early!
