It's the monthly Community Zine Club! Come hang out at the Columbia Gorge Community College library and make a zine (pronounced “zeen”)—aka a little DIY magazine! Drop in November 20th between 5:00–7:00 PM to chat with other folks interested in zines, learn a little about zine history and culture, and have access to craft supplies for making your own.

This month, in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance, the focus is on zines related to the trans community (though you can always make zines about whatever you want). There will be no meeting in December. Keep an eye out for an announcement about dates & times in 2026.

At the in-person event, masking is encouraged, but optional. Masks will be available if you'd like one, and there will be an air purifier nearby. This workshop is taught in English, with handouts in English and Spanish.

If you have questions about the community zine club, please contact Danny Jacobsen, who is the event coordinator and zine library curator. You can email them at djacobsen@cgcc.edu.

For additional accommodations, please contact Shayna Dahl, Student Support Services Coordinator, at (541) 506-6046, 711 relay, or sdahl@cgcc.edu. Columbia Gorge Community College is an equal opportunity educator and employer.
