During Mental Health Month, we invite you to Slow. Yourself. Down. In a world that often expects constant output and values only productivity, this month is about learning to work with your energy, not against it, and what it means to engage in real, restorative rest.
Take some time to unwind by creating your own custom painting on canvas. Stop by the library between 1–3 PM for an opportunity to slow down, decompress, and let your imagination run wild. All supplies are provided, though you may want to wear protective clothing or bring an apron.
This event will take place in the southeast corner of the library, at the large wooden table. You might also want to check out the library's Mental Health Month display, which features a curated selection of books, zines, and brochures centered around this year's theme: Slow. Yourself. Down.
