Learn how to use linocut tools to carve a rubber stamp that you can use again and again!
Drop by the CGCC Library on July 22nd between 2–5 PM for a Crafternoon workshop that will teach you the art of creating linocut stamps (a form of relief printing). Make small stamps with “Pink Pearl” erasers, or stretch your creative muscles by making a larger design on a 4 by 6 inch block. Or try both!
Optionally, print your design on a fabric patch that you can iron onto your clothes/accessories.
2–2:30 PM: Safety tips for handling bladed tools, linocut demonstration
2:30–5 PM: Open/drop in stamp carving
(This workshop is open to current CGCC students and alumni.)
