Nancey has been the director of Child Care Partners since September, 2010. She has a long history of working in the field of Early Childhood, starting with 17 years as a family child care provider.
“Retiring” from child care, Nancey joined Child Care Partners’ staff as the Provider Specialist in 1995. After five years with the program Nancey moved to Mid-Columbia Children’s Council, where she held a variety of positions over an 11 year period. But her heart always remained in child care and Child Care Partners, where she continued to teach classes.
As Director, Nancey does community outreach and continues to teach classes, as well as many other responsibilities.
Kathleen McFarlane, Early Childhood Specialist

Kathleen has been a Child Care Partners staff member for eleven years starting with a very successful Hood River infant toddler provider recruitment grant project.
Advocating for children, she has encouraged education/training as a means to promote quality child care for parents, providers and communities. Her long history with the program has been a huge asset.
Kathleen does our parent referrals and is the key staff member for our provider and parent newsletters.
Noemi Ochoa, Quality Improvement Specialist / Early Childhood Specialist

Noemi developed her passion for Early Childhood at Mt. Hood Community College. While attending Mt. Hood Community College, she worked for OCDC and The Next Door, Inc. After graduating from college Noemi worked as an Associate Teacher and Family Health Advocate for six years, working with children and families, as well as community partners in the White Salmon area.
Noemi is currently providing bilingual serves and will be assisting providers with the Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) and the Oregon Registry.
Kristen Richelderfer, Child Care Partners Quality Improvement Specialist/Early Childhood Specialist

Kristen's love for working with children and their families began by working at her high school's childcare program. After receiving her degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oregon in 2005 she worked both for KinderCare and the YMCA in Eugene. After moving back to the Columbia Gorge she worked at Great n' Small Child Development Center for 4 years before joining the team at Child Care Partners
Kristen is a Quality Improvement Specialist, taking the lead on the Focused Child Care Network for our 5 county region.
