Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) Health Occupation Club (HOC) is a fellowship of nursing students involved in the College and community. HOC assists in the development of professional identity, provides a means of interaction between students and the College, and addresses issues specific to community based nursing.

  • Foster self-improvement, academic excellence, and leadership within the Health Occupation field
  • Provide opportunities to mentor for the exchange of information and incorporation of ideas.
  • Provide a means of interaction between students, faculty, and the College.
  • Facilitate interaction and association between all CGCC Health Occupation students.

Include the following programs and classes offered at Columbia Gorge Community College as defined by the college; Basic Health Informatics Assistant, Emergency Medical Services Certificate, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Practical Nurse Certificate, Associate of Applied Science in Nursing, Medical Assisting Certificate, and Medication Aide. Additional classes and programs may be added with a majority officer vote (3/4).
