Description

Gorge Behavior Solutions is looking for energetic, creative, and detail-oriented individuals to provide in-home behavior intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Gorge Behavior Solutions uses the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach children on the spectrum the functional skills that they can use to achieve independence in their daily lives.

On-site supervision and support will be provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Continuing education in the field of ABA is highly encouraged and would be supported!  We are dedicated to enriching the Columbia River Gorge area with highly-skilled behavior professionals.

Supervision is available for those seeking BCBA credential.

*Position is designed for both independent contractors and those looking for steady employment, hours available for work may be either part-time or full-time, as it is dependent on the RBT and clients' availability.

*Pay is dependent on education and experience, range is $15-20/hour.

Position open until filled.

Responsibilities

*Provide one-to-one ABA interventions, including DTT, PECS, Verbal Behavior, and other evidence-based techniques

*Consistently implement behavior intervention plans (as written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

*Maintain accurate records of child's performance via data collection and clinical notes via online data collection system

*Maintain accurate records of your billable time via online scheduling system

Qualifications

*Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent.

*Valid driver's license, car insurance and the ability to drive to the homes of the families you will serve.

*Be able to pass a criminal background check.

*Be able to obtain/maintain professional liability insurance.

*Be able to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid credential.

*Have regular access to and knowledge of use of modern technology (i.e.: PC, Mac, iPad or other tablet device, smartphone, etc.) as this is used for scheduling, billing, and data collection purposes. (Training will be provided on the systems used.)

*Within 45 days: Meet the requirements to become a Certified Behavior Technician in the state of Washington, including either a BCAT or RBT credential.  For those who do not have an RBT credential, we will assist you with the RBT training process. Must be willing and able to obtain either the BCAT or RBT credential and submit application to become a Certified Behavior Technician within the first 45 days of hiring.
