CGOA seeks person interested in film and videography to serve an internship with a nonprofit organization. The position is an “Archivist” to help document and catalogue live performances. This is a volunteer position. Options for college credit are currently being explored through the Columbia Gorge Community College.
Help film and document live musical performances. Involvement in other film projects and/or special projects is being considered and based on technical skills, ability and personal interest. Oversight and direction will be by John Hardham of Lightwave Communications.
To be eligible, the student must have a minimum of 2 years experience in multimedia design, advanced skills in videography, video editing and photography. Equipment such as a video camera(s), lighting and sound devices provided. A strong interest in videography, film editing and possess good communication and organizational skills helpful.
Candidate must have a valid driver's license and available to attend program events and/or rehearsals as needed. A rehearsal and performance schedule will be provided once venues are secured and more information is known.
