College welcomes new staff in January
Columbia Gorge Community College welcomed three new arrivals to its staff in January.
Kathy Campbell joins CGCC as interim financial aid director. Kathy has more than 30 years of experience in financial aid working at community colleges in Oregon, most recently at Chemeketa Community College. “Kathy will lead a strong and growing team of professionals in our Financial Aid Department,” said Dr. Eric Studebaker, chief student services officer.
Also, Sarah Voodre joins CGCC as financial aid specialist. This is Sarah's first position in higher education, but as a former student at CGCC she brings an important perspective. “Sarah will play a key role in supporting and serving CGCC students to overcome financial barriers to their post-secondary goals,” Dr. Studebaker said.
And in the Business Office, Eric Stasak joins CGCC as interim chief financial officer. Eric brings extensive background in finances and leadership, having held key financial positions at Klamath Community College and Southwestern Oregon Community College. “We are very pleased to have his expertise guiding the Business Office during this time of transition,” said Courtney Judah, human resources director.
