Professor Davis has over 35 years of experience in entrepreneurial startups related to aviation, manufacturing, and international operations with extensive involvement in China, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. He has designed and managed facilities and distribution locations as well as marketed and sold products and services in over 17 countries. Following is a list of his most notable business ventures and accomplishments:

Aero Drone (2016-present) - Founder of a small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) company providing commercial drone flight services, drone operations management software, customized training programs for individuals and enterprises in the use and applications of sUAS, and comprehensive sUAS consulting services. He is responsible for the Academy/Education division and deployment of training programs as well as performing the duties of Chief Pilot.

A/D Electronics (1983-2005) - Founder, President, & CEO of a manufacturing company recognized as the premier resource for high qulaity technical and mechanical electronic components. Services included efficient product and technology development, factory management, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, and import/export assistance. Directed the enterprise from a startup to over $25 million in revenue and 1,200 employees. Operations included divisions in the US and Mexico as well as three factories in China.

Davis Aviation (1992-1998) – Founder and President of a Flight Based Operation (FBO) that included a flight school as well as charter and aircraft maintenance services. Successfuly developed federally-approved manuals for all operations working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration. Developed world-class flight school preparing students to obtain their commercial, instrument, multi-engine, and ATP ceritifications.

Professor Davis joined the CGCC faculty in 2016 as an expert in sUAS and has qualified the college in the Trusted Operator Program (TOP) at the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) level for sUAS flight training. He now teaches in the Business & Entrepreneurship program as well. In addition, he is an author, patent holder, international business award winner, and pilot.
