Child Care Division Begins Rule Revision Process
As part of preparing for a comprehensive revision of the Administrative rules related to all regulated child care in Oregon, the Child Care Division has contracted with national child care policy experts to review the current rules and seek input from a wide range of stakeholders. They are looking at specific areas of administrative rules that need review and revision to reflect current or needed practices.
Session Goals: To seek recommendations for specific areas of the rules for all types of regulated child care businesses and facilities.
This is an opportunity for child care providers to voice their opinions of current rules and regulations and offer input on possible improvement. Rule Revisions happen periodically to ensure that the rules reflect the current needs.
A survey has been distributed to help lead the discussion at 3 “Mega Meetings” in October. The meetings are set up by licensing type and at times of the day that will allow maximum participation.
