Jim Pytel Finishes project with the NSF Advanced Technological Education
Jim Pytel has recently finished a project with the National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) and put all his EET 111 lectures online. His Basic Electronics course has 43 videos and so far has had 7,107 views. This online flipped classroom approach allows students to watch lectures online and get hands on work in the classroom. Students have the advantage of learning at their own pace, pausing or rewinding lectures and can review materials any time. It eliminates the students textbook costs and allows flexibility for those students in the work-force or with family obligations.
