The Learning Garden will compose 1,000-2,000 square feet of gardening space and feature drip irrigation, more raised planter beds, an outdoor class room, storage shed, a rain collection system and a compost demonstration area.
The College used an average of 1,880 gallons a day for irrigation, drinking water, and sanitation purposes at the Hood River - Indian Creek Campus last year – and the College is working to set a better example.
