COAST (Coastal Online Academic Scheduling Technology), CGCC’s online information system, is created for both public and student access. The general public and prospective students have access to apply for admission to the college, obtain financial aid information, and view the current course offerings, college catalog, and the campus directory. This information is available without logging into the secure area.
The “Secure Area” of COAST is designed specifically for current and former students of CGCC. This area contains personal information, including registration status, academic history, and financial aid data.
Logging Into Secure Area
- Click “Login to Secure Area”.
- At “User ID”, enter your Social Security Number (no spaces, no dashes).
- At PIN, enter the last 6 digits of your Social Security Number (no spaces, no dashes). Call Computer Services (264-7279) if you experience difficulty with your initial login.
- Click “Login”. You must change your PIN the first time you enter COAST. Please choose a new 6-digit (numbers only, no spaces, no dashes) PIN and keep this number confidential for the security of your academic records.
- Inside the “Secure Area”, click “Student Services and Financial Aid” to access the “Student Records”, “Registration”, and “Financial Aid” areas.
