Commencement Ceremony
Friday, May 2, 2008 7:00pm in the Gym.
*Due to Gym renovations, graduates and guests will enter the gym using the side doors.
Graduation Rehearsal
Friday, May 2, 2008 10:00am in the Gym.
You are required to attend the rehearsal in order to participate in the ceremony. Rehearsal will last about 90 minutes.
Guest Seating
4 guest tickets per graduate who submitted a Confirmation Card.
Every guest attending the ceremony must have a ticket(this includes children).
Tickets can be picked up from Student Services April 21-24 9am-12pm and 2pm-6pm
Seating will begin at 6:00 pm.
Guests needing special seating accommodations should contact Disability Services at 912-264-7220 no later than April 24th.
Etiquette
Please DO NOT disrupt the silent processional of graduates until the entire group has passed across the platform and returned to their seats. At the time each group reaches their seats, please honor them with as much applause as possible (no airhorns or other noise making distrations). Please respect the special nature of each graduate and each group of graduates by remaining silent during the awarding of the diplomas.
Children should be seated with parents. All guests are asked to limit their movement during the ceremony, as going in and out of the ceremony is distracting to everyone. Guests are asked to remain until the conclusion of the ceremony, including the processional of faculty and students.

Caps, Gowns & Announcements
Caps and gowns may be picked up at the bookstore beginning April 21.
Announcements are available through the bookstore.
Reception
A reception will be held in the Student Center following the graduation. |
