What Is The TRiO Student Support Services Program? The TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) program is a federally funded grant program through the Department of Education. The goal of TRiO SSS is to improve the success rates of college students who qualify to participate in the program by providing a variety of support services.
Who Is Eligible To Apply? A student is eligible to participate in TRiO SSS if he/she is seeking an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AS) with plans to transfer to a four year college, and meets one or more of the following criteria:
- is a first-generation college student (neither of the student's
parents or guardians has received a four-year degree)
- comes from a low-income family (defined by Federal guidelines)
- has a documented disability

How do I apply? Click on the link on the top of this page to download the application -OR- stop by the TRiO center to pick up an application. Once you complete the application, return it to the TRiO center where you will be scheduled for a one-on-one appointment with a TRiO advisor.
