The Small Business Management (SBM) program teaches business owners skills on reaching goals and increasing profitability with a focus on financial control.

About the Program

  • Program dates: September - June
  • Cost: $507 per company (valued over $3,000, due to federal and state incentives most of the cost is subsidized)
  • Uses the Internationally-recognized Profit Mastery curriculum with other business topics
  • 30 hours of classroom instruction
  • 20 hours of personalized coaching spread over 10-months

  • Using business software (QuickBooks)
  • Business exit strategy and transition planning

Requirements

  • Limited to 10 non-competing businesses located in Hood River, Sherman or Wasco counties
  • In business at least 1 year
  • Ability to produce financial statements
  • Commitment to working on improving your business
