Implementation of Auto Awarding of Degrees and Certificates
Starting fall term 2012, if you are enrolled and will be completing the final requirements for the degree or certificate you’ve declared with the College, you will be automatically awarded your credential at the end of the term.
Early in the term, the Registrar’s office will notify those students whose degree audit indicates they may be finishing at the end of term. The notification will be sent to the student’s CGCC student email account. Students may “opt out” of the award by seeing an academic advisor.
