Shared Voices Book Release - Hood River
About the Event
This year is the 14th edition of Shared Voices. You are invited to the book release and signing at the Hood River Library. New and returning writers will be reading their submissions and signing books for those in attendance.
Shared Voices was started thirteen years ago as a project of Gorge Literacy, a program of Columbia Gorge Community College, as an opportunity for beginning writers to become published authors. CGCC pre-college instructors and volunteer literacy tutors encourage their students/learners to submit for the publication each year. Authors find the courage and “dare to share” bridging the gap of uncertainty and fear to submit their writings.
The book sigining is a special way to recognize emerging writers and celebrate their achievements. Plan to join new writers and others at this celebration of Shared Voices, A New Writers’ Collection sponsored by Gorge Literacy and Columbia Gorge Community College.
