The purpose of Gould Memorial Library at Coastal Georgia Community College is to support the mission and academic programs of the College. This is accomplished by:
- developing services, facilities, and resources that meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff
- providing students with convenient access to information technology and electronic information resources
- providing access to resources that are available in other libraries by participating in state and regional library networks
- providing opportunities for students to develop information literacy skills through special workshops, course related instruction, instructional handouts and individualized instruction
- developing local collections that support the curriculum of the college
- providing students and faculty with convenient opportunities for evaluating library services, programs and resources on a continuous basis
Gould Memorial Library is committed to the success of all students at the college irrespective of location, or special needs.
