Fund & Cost Accountant

Position Status: Accepting Applications

This Fund & Cost Accountant is responsible for performing professional duties in the field of accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to include; keeping accurate and concise financial records, performing accounting and budget duties, assisting with cash management functions, performing cost accounting, preparing financial reports and performing Federal and State reporting. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required with significant accounting coursework and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Experience working in the public sector with computerized governmental accounting systems or significant accounting and computer course work required. Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for maintaining the fiscal integrity of the College and assists the institution in effective use of its resources to achieve its educational mission and improve institutional effectiveness. The CFO is responsible for financial services for the College, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, audits and other services as assigned. The CFO supervises all staff in the Finance Department.  The CFO reports directly to the President and is a full participating member of the President’s Executive Leadership Team. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred. Candidates must have a minimum three (3) to five (5) years of related financial experience in public or private sector and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a complex and diverse organization.This full-time, exempt position has a salary range of $60,032 to $99,224 DOE.  CGCC application, cover letter, resume, supplemental questions, and college transcripts and/or proof of licensure or certifications are required to apply. Administrative Assistant to the President and Board of Education

Position Status: Accepting Applications

This position provides high-level administrative support to the President, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Education and the Budget Committee. The administrative assistant is expected to maintain complete confidentiality while working with both internal and external constituents and to represent the Office of the President with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.Associate Degree or equivalent required. Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree preferred. Two or more years of high-level administrative experience required. Employee must have demonstrated proficiency in handling matters of a highly confidential nature; an ability to assume a high degree of responsibility; ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups; ability to work independently; and ability to plan, implement and manage short and long term projects.  Experience in a post-secondary education setting either in a clerical, administrative, or teaching role is preferred. Experience working with a Board of Directors preferred. Starting salary 14.78-$16.15 per hour DOE. CGCC application, cover letter, and resume are required to apply.
