To see if an award has disbursed, or is anticipated to disburse, check the "View Your Current Fees and Status” link under the Student Services & Financial Aid tab on COAST. Enter your login information and type in “200902” for the term.

Total tuition and fees for semester = The current total of your tuition and fees for the semester. (This amount could change if you add or drop a class before the first day of class)

Total financial aid currently authorized for semester = This amount shows how much aid you are scheduled to receive based on the amount of credit hours you are currently enrolled in. (This amount could change if you add or drop a class before the first day of class)

Total financial aid paid to date for semester = This amount shows how much aid has been disbursed to your account for the semester.

Amount of Financial Aid refunded to student for semester = This amount shows how much aid has been refunded to you (after tuition and fees have been deducted).

Total amount of out of pocket payment for semester = This is the amount that you have paid out of pocket (by cash, check, or credit card) for the semester.

Amount owed by student is = This is the total amount that is owed for the semester.

Requirements for Aid to Disburse:

Your application for financial aid must be complete. View any missing requirements in the "My Requirements and Eligibility" section of Financial Aid on your COAST.
You must meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements. You may check your financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress on your COAST in the "My Requirements and Eligibility" section of Financial Aid.
Funds must have been received by College of Coastal Georgia, including outside scholarships or loans.
Timing - Funds will not appear on your account before January 2nd. The disbursement process will continue daily throughout the registration period.
You must be properly enrolled for the type of aid you are awarded. View "Enrollment Status" for general guidelines and see below for additional program-specific details.

Requirements to receive your Refund Check
Your attendance must be verified by your instructor(s) in at least 6 credit hours.

Hours Needed For Disbursement to Occur
Pell Grant & Foundation Scholarships	Pell Grant Pays a Prorated Amount Depending on the number of hours of enrollment. For example, half the amount is disbursed if a student is only enrolled half-time.
HOPE Scholarship & Hope Grant	HOPE pays tuition based on the actual number of hours of enrollment.
Stafford and PLUS Loans	Student must be enrolled in at least six hours.
Academic Competitiveness and Smart Grant	Student must be enrolled full-time.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Check your Coast account often. Make sure your fees are paid by the fee payment deadline.
