Background

My name is Candy Gruner and I teach online classes in web design and alternative energy. My background is in biology, information systems, education, and environmental science and I have more than thirty years of experience in these areas. Key projects that I have worked on include: website development for schools, organizations and businesses, multimedia curriculum development, online education in the private sector as well as for CGCC, and environmental site assessments.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the New Mexico mountains where we live, running (of the half-marathon variety), bird watching, gardening (minimalist – wildflowers have the run of the place), creative quilting, and healthy cooking.
