Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) welcomes students 18 years of age and older who can benefit from the variety of instructional programs offered. The courses and programs are designed to meet adults' personal needs and career goals.
If you are 16 or 17 years of age and have not graduated from high school, you may take an evening or summer class by meeting prerequisite skills or requirements. You may enroll for other courses if the courses are part of a cooperative program between your high school and the college, or if your high school issues a release form allowing you to be admitted to Columbia Gorge Community College.
CGCC welcomes students under 16 years of age with college level academic ability and maturity to handle the discipline and personal skills required for successful completion of college work. Students under the age of 16 are subject to the rules and regulations of CGCC, as stated in the CGCC Catalog. Contact the Chief Student Services Officer at (541) 506-6011 for specific admissions requirements for students under age 16.
