Healthcare Careers Discovery Day

March 19, 8:45 am - 12:30 pm

Check-in starts at 8:45 am in Building 3 | Student Services

Agenda for the day

About the Event

The purpose of this event is to give high school students an opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops related to health occupations, explore Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) medical facilities, talk with instructors and advisors, meet potential employers in the medical field and be inspired to pursue their career goals.

Students may also use this opportunity to partially complete a Career Related Learning Experience requirement.

Participation is limited and requires registration. The ideal participants will be high school students who are strongly considering health occupations careers, but may not have had the opportunity to explore the options. The attending students should be those that need to see things, and meet people in person, to confidently move forward.
